Proofreading is the most basic service offered, and potentially the most useful. While few people will notice the grammatical details of a simple piece of text, even just one spelling mistake, or one misplaced full stop or forgotten capital letter, will send out signals of an unprofessional business or an unpolished piece of work.

Proofreading will not interfere with the content of the text. Proofreading merely ensures that words are appropriate and spelled correctly, grammar and punctuation are accurate, and there are no unnecessary characters including spaces - on the page. In addition, all page numbers will be checked to be sure that they run sequentially, and treatment will be applied to all titles, headers, contents pages, etc.
